About the tutor

Daniel Imaku is the founder, CEO and lead tutor at Imaku STEM Academy. He holds a BEng and MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Renewable Energy. He has taught students online since 2015, bringing extensive experience to Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Python programming.

Daniel combines an engineer’s structured problem-solving approach with clear, patient and personalised teaching. His lessons help learners understand difficult concepts, build confidence and develop the skills required for examinations and future STEM study.

Who can study with Imaku STEM Academy?

Maths tuition is available from Year 3 through SATs, GCSE and A-level. Level 2 Further Mathematics, GCSE Physics and Computer Science support is available for Years 10–11, and Python programming starts from age 7.

Where can I buy learning materials?

Open the public Study Shop to browse resources. Log in only when you are ready to buy; paid downloads appear in My Materials in your portal.

Do I need an account before I make an enquiry?

No. You can ask Daniel a question by WhatsApp or email first. An account is needed only when you are ready to submit a booking and use the student or parent portal.

How are live lessons delivered?

Lessons are taught online. A scheduled lesson appears on the teacher’s and student’s dashboards; they use the same Join lesson button to open the secure classroom or Microsoft Teams link supplied for that lesson.

How will I see assignments, scores and progress?

Students receive and submit assignments in their portal. After marking, scores, feedback and correct working are shown to the student, while linked parents and the tutor can follow recorded progress.

How does payment work?

A booking is confirmed after payment. Secure card payment is offered when available, and bank-transfer instructions are also provided. Card details are processed securely by Stripe and are not stored by Imaku STEM Academy.

Can I discuss the learner’s needs before booking?

Yes. Use the WhatsApp or email enquiry button to explain the learner’s year group, subject, exam board, current difficulties and goals before choosing a lesson.

Simple, transparent policies

Payment

Bookings are confirmed after secure card payment or bank transfer. Study Shop card purchases unlock automatically after Stripe confirmation.

Changes to lessons

At least 36 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule; with less notice, the lesson fee remains payable.

Safe, productive learning

Students should join on time, protect their login, use a suitable device and attempt assigned work by the due date.

Secure practice mode: question text cannot be selected/copied and answer boxes block paste. This reduces easy copying, although no normal website can completely prevent screenshots or manual transcription.

Create assignment

Choose either method: generate questions from the bank, or upload your own PDF without generating or previewing bank questions.

Option 1 — Question-bank assignment

Choose the topic you taught, preview fresh questions, untick any you do not want, then assign the selected questions.

Each batch prioritises different question families, skills and contexts. Questions that only change the numbers are treated as duplicates and shown at most once.

Option 2 — Your own PDF or instructions

No question-bank preview is required. Upload your own PDF worksheet or question sheet; it is stored privately and only the assigned student can open it.

For your own custom quiz, create it in Google Forms and paste the responder link here. Students will get an Open Google Form quiz button in their assignment. For PDF work, the student can upload their completed PDF/JPG/PNG from their assignment and you can mark it in Tutor Admin.

MP4 is recommended. Large videos are subject to your Supabase project's storage/upload limit.
